ShareThe perfect memento of an unforgettable live performance
After the performance, you can personally hand out your CD digipacks to your fans. Take a moment to chat, snap a photo, and even sign the limited edition digipacks. Your fan will cherish this moment for a long time and will take the CD home with them, creating a lasting memory of the experience.
1 CD = 3000 streams.
With a typical selling price of 12 euros and a royalty rate of 85% from the sales revenue, you would need to generate several thousand music streams to earn the same amount of money as selling a single CD. Streaming royalties are generally lower compared to physical sales, making it necessary to accumulate a larger number of streams to achieve similar financial returns.
Indeed, the lower royalty rates of streaming platforms result in artists receiving only a fraction of the revenue generated. As a result, a significantly higher number of streams is required to earn a similar amount compared to selling a CD. This is due to the different business models and distribution methods employed by streaming platforms, where revenue is primarily generated through subscriptions and advertising rather than direct sales of physical copies.

Tell your story.
It is important to present music in a professional and appealing manner. Many not only praise the music itself but also the attractive packaging that made them feel like they were holding a genuine collector’s item in their hands.

Cover artwork
On the front of a CD, you can display and design the album cover or the title of the recording. On the back, you can place a tracklist, song lyrics, or additional information about the recording.
Booklet
Whether it’s song lyrics, artist photos, credits, liner notes, or tour dates, the booklet provides your fans with an opportunity to learn more about the album and the artists while enjoying your music.
The best material
When it comes to choosing the material for a CD digipack, there are many options available, ranging from smooth and glossy surfaces to rough and matte finishes.
Disperion varnish glossy vs. matte
We offer both gloss dispersion varnish and matte dispersion varnish. While the gloss varnish provides a brilliant surface, the matte varnish gives the CDs a sophisticated, subtle finish. Choose what suits your project best.
Dispersion gloss
Shiny, reflective surface that can help highlight the design on the CD digipack.
It gives the design a polished, professional appearance. The glossy surface can also help make colors appear more vibrant and contrasted. However, it should be noted that dispersion varnish (Dispo) serves primarily as a protective layer and does not have any enhancement function. Therefore, there is hardly any noticeable difference between dispo matte and dispo gloss.
Dispersion matte
Matte, non-reflective surface that has a more subtle and elegant effect.
This type of varnish can help make the text on the CD packaging more legible and give the design a less striking yet still appealing look. However, it should be noted that dispersion varnish (Dispo) primarily serves as a protective layer and does not have any enhancement function. Therefore, there is hardly any noticeable difference between dispo matte and dispo gloss.
CD tray color
A transparent CD tray is see-through, allowing the listener to see the inner-side design behind the CD.
A black CD tray can be either matte or glossy, giving your packaging a timeless and elegant look.
A white CD tray has an exceptional appearance and is a rare eye-catcher. It is suitable for designs with lighter and summery colors.
Inner panel printing
Inner panel printing provides an additional area for designing the packaging. Here, you can place images, texts, or other graphic elements to complement the design of the CD digipack.
Hot foil stamping
Hot foil stamping on a CD packaging is like the sparkle in a person’s eyes when they see something truly beautiful.
The embossing gives the packaging a shiny, metallic appearance, making it look cooler. This instantly makes the CD much more intriguing and enticing, inviting people to unwrap it and listen to its contents.
Recycling carton or Inside-Out?
If environmental friendliness is important to you, recycling cardboard can be a better option. However, if you desire an unusual texture, inside-out paper can be an interesting choice.
Recycling carton
Recycling cardboard, as the name suggests, is made from recycled paper.
It is an environmentally friendly option as it helps reduce waste and conserve resources. Recycling cardboard often has a matte surface and is typically thicker and more durable.
Inside-Out
With Inside-Out material, you can print on the rough, uncoated side of the paper or cardboard instead of the smooth side, creating a unique tactile effect.
This creates a unique tactile sensation and a different surface perception, which triggers an “aha” effect in the listener of your CD or DVD. To protect the packaging from moisture and abrasion, we apply a matte dispersion varnish to Inside-Out packaging such as Digifiles or Digipacks. This option is suitable for high-contrast designs and minimalist full-color prints. Choose Inside-Out printing to grab attention and leave a lasting impression with a distinctive design.
Foil lamination
A foil lamination is a thin layer of plastic film applied to a paper surface to protect and enhance it. In the case of a CD digipack, the lamination is applied to the paper of the packaging to make it more durable and visually appealing.
Glossy lamination
Satin matte lamination
350gsm paper
350g paper is thicker and more sturdy than 300g paper, giving it greater strength and durability.
A higher paper thickness can indeed provide a better tactile experience and convey a sense of higher quality.
Kraftpack
Compared to conventional cardboard, Kraftpack has a higher density and rougher surface, giving it a rustic appearance. The material is available in various thicknesses and can be chosen based on the design’s requirements.
