What is an extradition permit (formerly GEMA exemption)?

The delivery authorization releases us (your disc, the pressing plant) and at the same time assures us that the licensing of the sound recordings is carried out by you personally with GEMA. If you want us to print copyrighted material or not your own intellectual property, we will definitely need a GEMA exemption or GEMA's delivery permit.

The delivery permit is applied for directly from GEMA.
