Checklist for print data production
- Most suitable format: PDF
- Fonts not smaller than 6pt
- When printing the CD, the text may begin to run at 8pt due to the coarse rasterization, especially with fonts that appear in bold.
- Please use professional fonts; we assume no liability for inferior fonts.
- PDF/X3-2002?
- correct size format?
- Breed margin set?
- CMYK mode?
- Font converted into paths? (only needs to be done if the print file is saved as a PDF)
- no spelling errors?
- Texts at least 1 mm (suggested 4mm) away from the edge of the final format (so-called “safety distance”)?
- sufficient resolution? (The print data must have a resolution of 300 dpi. If the print file is saved as JPG, the maximum image quality must be selected when saving)
- multi-page documents (e.g. booklets) created as imposed double pages (in the correct order)?
